Game Used, worn 1971 Dallas Cowboys Riddell TK Suspension model helmet.   The helmet is a very large 7 7/8 size - very unusual and rare.  The Kra Lite 8 helmet was new in 1971 and reconditioned according to a sticker on the inside of the helmet for the 1976 season.  There is some paint damage to the front edges below the mask as well as to the rear lower edge of the helmet.  Helmet comes complete with the original 70s style Schutt JOP XL facemask along with the original Riddell leather jawpads.  The mask is secured to the helmet using reproduction clips.  The original hardware remains with the helmet.  The helmet exhibits solid wear to both the interior and the interior.  There are two different #68 player identifiers written in the helmet.  Herbert Scott, the starting left guard wore #68 for the Cowboys from 1975 through 1984.  Scott wore a NJOP mask while playing for the Cowboys so the mask may have been changed prior to releasing.  Great helmet from America's Team which are a bit rare in the market and highly sought after - in nice display condition.
