Game Worn Cincinnati Benglas TAK29 suspension helmet from 1971. The helmet is all original and complete with no modifications. The helmet itself is a molded burnt orange with a datecode of 1971. It has a vinyl orange center stripe which was the case with the TAK and Micro-Fit helmets that required pumped air to fill the padding bladders. The facemask is a Dungard lineman style - original to the helmet and secured with original Dungard clips and hardware. The original Riddell suspension, TAK29 air/liquid bladder, and well worn leather jawpads are all present and original to the helmet. The helmet also has the original Riddell front “Wildcat” nose bumper and the original Riddell single point chinstrap.
The helmet exhibits moderate wear on both the interior and exterior. The logos are original, positioned correctly, and adhered to the helmet with no lifting. A rare NFL gamer to find - it has been in our personal collection for more than a decade. A great helmet to display for your collection, of a very tough helmet to find.
