Game Used Arizona State Riddell TK suspension helmet.  The helmet is all original and complete including the chinstrap.   The helmet has a manufacturers date code from 1971, and was used with player numbers on the helmet sides through the 1974 season.  The helmet is all original and complete as sourced - with the original suspension, jawpads,  2-bar BD-9 mask from 1971, and the Riddell U-bar as preferred by the Sun Devils during the late 60's through mid 70's time period.   

The helmet shows moderate exterior and interior game wear.   The helmet has early Riddell heat stamps on the rear of both sides flanking the center ridge of the helmet with the original Riddell thin mil maroon vinyl center stripe.  The player numbers on the sides of te helmet have been removed by the team equipment staff, in preparation for the following season, but was not used and eventually released. A very rare helmet of a highly desireable model, that obviously saw some years of action on the gridiron.
