Game Used Harding Bisons MacGregor 100MH Clear Shell Helmet. This style of helmet was used by the Bisons during the 1970s . The “clear shell” helmet is a very rare and highly sought after model, with the logos and paint of the helmet under the clear shell. The helmet is complete with the exception of the chinstrap. It is all original, unaltered or modified in any way. The helmet has a very rare model plastic NJOP style facemask that bolts directly to the helmet. The area where the lower left portion of the mask is attached to the helmet has broken away. With the positioning of the mask, it is difficult to notice the broken shell and does not limit its ability to display proudly. The jaw pads and front pad are missing from the helmet. The helmet shows moderate game use, however the logos and paint remain in nice condition - hence the theory of using clear shell helmets. An excellent, very rare model of a Bisons helmet - that you may never see another one like it. Priced accordingly with the damaged shell and missing pads. A pristine model would bring four to five times the price.
