CFL vintage suspension helmets.  Try and find them.  Very rare.   This one is no exception.  Perfect in every way.  This is a game used helmet that like many, tells a story. 

The Blue Bombers wore this style of helmet with the blue center stripe and these logos from 1965 through the 1969 season, although it could be older than the 1965 season - with no datecode found in the helmet.   The helmet is original, unaltered, and complete except the chinstrap.  The center stripe of the helmet is painted rather than a vinyl strip used by other teams and later by the Bombers.  The logos are two-part multiple layers with the white "W" on top of the navy background.   There is significant chipping to the edges of the white "W" on each side of the helmet - adding to the character, uniqueness, and the story of this rare helmet.  

The helmet is complete with an original Riddell 2-bar facemask with a 1967 date code, interior suspension, rubber Riddell crown pad, and original leather jawpads.  The mask is secured to the helmet using the original hardware.  The helmet exhibits moderate wear to both the exterior and interior of the helmet.   Tough helmet to find.  Shipping is free in the cont US.  Please contact us if shipping to Canada is required.   Great looking historical helmet that certainly has a story - more so than a shiny new modern helmet.
