1964 Baltimore Colts Riddell TK Factory RAC Suspension helmet.  The helmet was never used, never had a mask installed to it, and remains in excellent condition - with the only marks being from moving it around for the past 60 years.  This Colts helmet, like all early 1960s Colts helmets, has a factory painted center stripe.  Not a vinyl decal, but painted.  The helmet is all original and complete, unmodified in any way.  The original suspension, leather jawpads, 1964 date stamp, and a very rare set of factory installed optional RAC padding.  The RAC (Riddell Anti - Concussion) padding was an option on helmets ordered from the factory, but also sold as a kit for teams to glue into their existing helmets.   Not only is this a very rare helmet but it is one of the most desirable teams from the old NFL among helmet collectors.  Seldom do Colts helmets appear in the collectible market and when they do, they are quickly snatched up at premium prices and rarely reappear.  This helmet is the 'cream of the crop" of those Colts helmets that appear.  Highly sought after Riddell TK helmet - museum quality, unused helmet that you will never see another one of - with a chance to own it.
