Game used, worn North Carolina helmet last used during the 2024 season. The helmet was worn by Freshman defensive back Blaine McClure. The helmet is original, complete, and unaltered.
The striping and side logos on the helmet are original, adhered well to the helmet, and positioned properly - matched to the positioning on photos of UNC helmets during the 2024 season. The center stripe is a multi-stripe that the team uses. The facemask is a Riddell Speed Flex model, secured to the helmet with its original clips and quick disconnect fasteners at the top and side locations of the mask. Game decals include the team applied white on clear warning label, front and rear 3D bumper decals, ACC Decal, State of NC decal, and a #36 player identifier. Some of the helmet's game decals have been removed - the American Flag, the memorial decal on the center stripe, and some of the Tar Heel award decals - leaving adhesive residue where they were on the helmet.&mbsp; As mentioned above, Blaine McClure, a freshman devensive back wore #36 and this helmet in 2024 for the Heels. There is a #36 identifier on the interior of the helmet, on each side of the helmet near the earhole, which aligns with the #36 identifier on the rear of the helmet.
The helmet is a classic modern UNC game used example, highly sought after by fans and helmet collectors alike. If you know helmets, you know how rare UNC game used helmets are - that do not reappear once purchased by collectors. Don’t wait on this one!
