2021 Kendrick Green ROOKIE season worn helmet.  Riddell Diamond Precision model, the helmet is complete, original, and sourced direct from the team.  Direct from the team or team issued.  A couple of phrases that are loosely used in the helmet collecting community, often by individuals selling helmets and other sports memorabilia.  Rarely is it the case.  Occasionally, or rarely, some NFL teams will release helmets, or sell helmets, but it is more of the exception than the rule.  However, the Pittsburgh Steelers do, on occasion, make their helmets available to the public,  “direct from the team,”  sold through their Pro Shop.  

The top rated helmet in the world, this Riddell Diamond Precision is well worn after an entire season of war on the gridiron, with deep gouges, scratches, and transfers.   Green’s name is embroidered into the rear interior padding, as is the case with this model of helmet.  As a rookie, Green was the Steelers starting Center for the first 15 games of the season and played 95% of the offensive snaps for those games.  He was hurt during his 15th consecutive game and missed the final two games of the season along with the Wildcard Playoff Game against the Chiefs.  When the Steelers offense took the field, there was #53, snapping the ball to Big Ben, and while he did - he was wearing this helmet!

The helmet has Green’s #53 on both the front and rear.   The massive helmet was originally sourced straight from the Steelers through their Pro Shop and has their hologram on the helmet interior.    Great helmet from a very solid up and coming NFL superstar.   The helmet has heavy wear and can be photo matched to games all season and would easily be the centerpiece of any Steelers fan or helmet collector’s collection.  Green only wore the one helmet during his rookie season in 2021, we have it, and you can own it!
