Game Worn Miami Dolphins Xavien Howard 2017 helmet. Helmet is original and complete. Howard wore several different models of helmet over the years but wore the Schutt XP Pro model during the 2017 season, before switching to the Riddell Flex. The size medium helmet was sourced by the team; has all of the padding, a Schutt EGOP facemask, secured with Schutt clips at the top mounts and white shockblocker clips at the sides. Howard wore the stainless model of the EGOP mask, however the helmet was sourced from the team with a carbon steel EGOP mask. I can not find any photos of Howard wearing a carbon EGOP. This model of helmet has silver internal padding along with matching silver jawpads. Howard however wore the older XP white vinyl jawpads which remain with the helmet. The helmet is missing the chinstrap, however has the 3D front bumper - which is unusual as the team replaces these bumpers with a flat vinyl sticker of “MIAMI” when releasing any helmets to the public. Helmet has light game wear. All decals and striping is in good condition with some game damage. Howard’s #25 decals are on the rear of the helmet, which are typically removed when the team releases player helmets. Great helmet of a Pro Bowl player, ready for display.
