Game Used, Stanford Cardinal helmet from 2010. Excellent example of an early Schutt XP 1st generation helmet. The helmet is in excellent condition with very light game wear to the exterior. The interior is also in great shape except for the early jaw pads which have started to tear and come apart as the early XP jaw pads do - at the outer lining. The helmet is complete with the TPU padding, XP comfort liner, and Schutt EGOP facemask. The mask is secured to the helmet with four (4) quarter-turn clips and fasteners. The center stripe and side logo are original to the helmet, properly positioned, and adhered to the helmet with no lifting. The right side logo is missing. Perhaps removed by the player, perhaps swapped at the end of the final game with a player from the other team, who knows. There is a #29 player identifier on the interior near the right jaw pad. Ed Reynolds, a four-year player with the Cardinal, as well as playing with the Eagles and Browns in the NFL, used this helmet his Freshman Season in 2010. A great helmet in wonderful display condition, at a very good price.
