Game Worn Indiana Hoosiers Schutt ION 4D model helmet. The helmet was originally manufactured in 2010 and used for multiple seasons. The ION 4D is Schutt's first attempt at a modern "anti-concussion" type helmet which led to a lawsuit by Riddell. The helmet was quickly discontinued and has become very collectible with helmet collectors due to the limited number that remain.
The helmet is a size XL in excellent condition. The paint is very nice, in the metallic cardinal that IU used during this period. The ION 4D used its own exclusive facemasks that only fit that model of helmet. This mask is original, in great shape and is secured to the helmet using the original mount at the top and original wedges on the sides of the helmet.
The helmet is original as sourced to us. The logos are original, positioned properly, and adhered to the helmet very well with no lifting. There are no player identifiers in the helmet but it does have the Indiana inventory barcode on the inside of the helmet.
A nice game used helmet, original, complete, and ready to display.
