Game Worn Minnesota Gophers Schutt Pro AiR II model helmet. The helmet was originally manufactured in 1999 and used for multiple seasons, ending with the 2007 season - the only season that they wore this style of helmet logo. The Pro AiR II was a very popular helmet in both College Football as well as the NFL. It utilized an air bladder similar to Schutt's earlier Pro Air models, but had a foam liner as well as a front and rear sizer of different thicknesses - allowing for a variety of custom sizes and fits.
The helmet is a size large in excellent condition. The paint is very nice as is the mask and interior padding. The helmet is complete and original with the exception of the chinstrap. The facemask is a NJOP model, original, in great shape and is secured to the helmet using the original clips and hardware.
The helmet is original as sourced to us. The logos are original, positioned properly, and adhered to the helmet very well with no lifting. There is a #66 player identifier on the rear of the helmet along with the American Flag and an NCAA pennant sticker that has suffered a direct hit and is “bunched” a bit and not laying flat. There is a GOPHERS decal on the front bumper of the helmet.
A nice game used helmet, original, complete, and ready to display.
