Game Worn San Diego State Riddell VSR4 model helmet in a Large size.  The helmet was originally manufactured in 2006 and worn through the 2011 season.  The helmet was worn for a full six (6) seasons.  The VSR4 helmet was very popular in both college football as well as the NFL in the late 80s and continued as one of Riddell’s top of the line helmets for more than a decade.  

The helmet is original as sourced to us and is complete including the chinstrap.  The logos are  original, positioned properly, and adhered to the helmet very well with no lifting.   The helmet shows moderate to heavy wear to the exterior and the interior of the helmet, with gouges under the paint from previous seasons.   A Schutt RJOP-UB-DW mask is secured to the helmet with its original clips and hardware.  Several seasons of reconditioning stickers have been removed from the helmet interior.  Additionally, a sticker from the University has been applied on the helmet interior, at the time of release, stating that the helmet is not to be worn.  

A nice game used helmet, original, complete, and ready to display, at a great price.
