Game used Redskins throwback style helmet used for the 2002 season.  The helmet is a Riddell VSR4 model helmet.  The helmet is complete except for the chinstrap - most likely kept by the player.  The darker gray Schutt RJOP-UB-DW is original to the helmet.  Interesting to note that the helmet is secured to the helmet with two different generations of side stabilizer clips.  The helmet shows only light to moderate wear and is in excellent display condition.   This can be expected - as the Redskins wore this style helmet for three of their Preseason games.  There are no player identifiers inside the helmet.  An excellent very rare style of Redskins helmet - without may of them in the market.
