2002 Seattle Seahawks Game Worn Used football helmet.   The helmet is a Riddell VSR4 model in a large size.  The helmet came originally directly from the team.  We are calling it game used or team issued as there is not a lot of wear to the helmet.  The helmet is complete and original as sourced to us.    The helmet is all original and complete with the VSR4 interior cell padding and Riddell RJOP-UB-DW facemask with a date code of 2001.   As you probably know, the Seahawks switched from their longtime silver helmets that they wore from their inaugural season through the end of the 2001 season - making this one of the first new colored Seahawks helmets.  This is evident by the painted Riddell trademark on the right side and the unpainted valve covers.  The Riddell mask is secured to the helmet using original "thick wire" clips and hardware.  The Seahawks was one of the few teams in the NFL that used Riddell facemasks.   There are no player identifiers in the helmet.  Nice early Seahawks helmet at a very low affordable price.
