Game Worn Temple helmet from the 1990/1991 seasons.  The helmet is a Riddell VSR3 model helmet with an original date code of 1990.  The Schutt thin wire NJOP facemask has a date code of 1991 leading to the assumption that the helmet was used for both seasons.  The helmet is all original and complete with the VSR3 style padding, the mentioned Schutt mask, Riddell  vinyl jawpads, and Riddell Pac3/WD1 chinstrap.  The mask is secured to the helmet using the original clips and hardware.  

The helmet exhibits moderate wear to the interior and exterior.  The striping and  side logos are in good condition and adhered to the helmet very well with no lifting.  There is a #56 player identifier written in the crown of the helmet.   A great helmet of a rare college helmet to display in your collection, at a very good price.
