Game Worn Cal Golden Bears early Micro Fit model helmet.  The helmet was manufactured in 1985 and was used through the early 1990s.  It is original and complete including the original padding and facemask.   The helmet has the Micro Fil fluid filled padding - in excellent condition, along with the original front nose bumper pocket and pad.  The helmet has its original Schutt 1987 1st generation ROPO-DW  facemask.  The mask is secured to the helmet using the original Schutt clips and hardware.  The helmet is a size large.   There are no player identifiers found in the helmet. 

The helmet logo decals are proper and original to the helmet.  They are positioned properly and adhered to the helmet well, with no lifting as shown in the photos.  The helmet has the original vinyl center stripe that protects the air valves of the Micro Fit padding, as well as the original "Bears" nose bumper decal.  A very rare helmet, in a rare model, with a rare original mask, complete as it left the field, ready to display and become the centerpiece for your collection.
