Game used Dallas Cowboys helmet from the 1978 as indicated by the datecode on the interior liner.   The helmet is an extremely rare Gladiator Hydro Flo.  This model of helmet was worn in the NFL from the early 1970s through the mid 1980s.  The helmet is complete with the fluid cell padding, Schutt NOP facemask, and the original facemask hardware.  The original clips securing the mask have broke - as is the case with all helmets from this era.  The helmet has Riddell leather jawpads and a Riddell 4 point chinstrap.  The striping and logos are original to the helmet.  The side stripes are curling slightly at the edges but still adhered to the helmet.  The helmet remains in excellent condition with light wear to the exterior and interior.   An extremely rare helmet that would very well be the centerpiece of any Dallas fan or helmet collectors collection.
