Offered is a Riddell TK model Bears suspension helmet from 1970.  The Bears wore primarily Wilson helmets during this period but also wore Riddell helmets as well - more so during the 1970s than the 1960s.   The helmet is original, complete and unmodified since we received it.  The helmet has a Riddell BD9 two bar model facemask, secured to the helmet with its original hardware.   The helmet has a well worn suspension along with its original Riddell chinstrap, and original Riddell leather jaw pads.  The helmet was signed by Gale Sayers, large, in silver paint on the sweet spot of the helmet.   A very nice helmet with moderate exterior and interior wear .  No player identifiers remain on the inside of the helmet.  Ready to display and priced to sell.
